Our Vision and Mission.
Preamble:
Youth are said to be the light, hope, future and prosperity of any nation or state .They are also leaders and pride of any community that need empowerment. Youth empowerment is an attitudinal, structural, and cultural process whereby young people gain the ability, authority, and agency to make decisions and implement change in their own lives and the lives of other people, including youth and adults.
To achieve this goals, there is need for planning, organizing, directing and for he/she whose mantle of leadership of her/his community lies on his/her shoulder, such responsibilities does is no way worth those visionless and lazy youths. As such, the planning for effective and successful achievement is the main goal and invitation of IMYDP for youth leadership and capacity building with a cognizance to peaceful co-existence at any domain and residence.
In setting our vision and mission agendum, we are taking into consideration “where the Muslim youth are now, where do they want to be and when? What resources/efforts are needed to get their? Which one do we posses now? What development do those resources need? What other resources are needed to get their? How can the Muslim youth find them? What stages must the Muslim youth pass before reaching the final objectives and when? What help must the Muslim youth need and from whom?
This is our criteria for measuring the present position of Muslim Youth along the predicaments of our immediate community .This predicaments of our needs to be identified so as to find panaceas to them as a means of “How to get there ’’.
Insha Allah ,trying to get there is what every segment of the Ummah of the Prophet should be taken into consideration and it calls for a joint participation of all Muslims state holders and policy makers in appropriate manner of needed action.
In the light of this, it is now our vision and mission to establish necessary infrastructure for successful take-off in many aspects since the April, 2008 training the trainer course as an eye opener for us collectively in the project team.
Status A
1. Muslim Youth Emancipation and Solidarity Measures
Promotion of liberation and emancipation programs or projects as solidarity through public enlightenment programs, symposium , seminars ,training courses ,workshops and other pertinent activities in partnership with any considered NGOs and Islamic Organizations.
2. Muslim Youths Unity and Qualitative Islamic and General Education
Encouraging high level Manpower Development for young Muslim ambassador from Nursery school to P.HD.
Advocating for more scholarships and bursary fund (kafala) for Muslim students at all levels of Education for deserving and meritorious students.
Advocating for technical assistance and co-operation for Muslim Youth most privileged ones in our immediate society and beyond.
By conducting orientation for professional fields for new university intake.
Guiding against education persecution of Muslim Youths at all Fields of life.
Establishment of a committee to follow up Muslim Youths achievements, problems and hindrances so as to eradicate poverty within Muslim Community, State or nation.
3. Youth Training and Development.
Establishment of resource training centers for Muslim Youths on holidays and at free time.
Organizing and motivating Competitions among Youths at a means of morale building and encouragement.
Giving attention to Media Column for youths of Islam on both prints and electronics media including the internet services and so forth.
STATUS B:
1. General Enlightenment and youth Mobilization.
Provision of career guidance and counseling at all Muslims institutions.
Establishment of vocational ventures for self-sustainability for the needy Muslim Youth, indigent and orphans.
Training in dialogue for combating secular, reasoning and sciences that seems targeting against Islam and the Prophets like Islam phobia, Prophet-phobia and all phobias in Islamic society and states.
Provisions for the youth at the grassroots and the down trodden in the society.
Advocating effective youth Inter-organization Corporation with a view to producing, exchanging and building future intellectuals and eminent personalities.
Tactful mobilization and motivation of Muslim students in social sciences and economics to include administration for economic improvement and eradication of poverty for carrying out various financial researches that can promote economic sustainability of the Muslim states and so forth
A joint fund ( community fund) for the orphans youth
STATUS C:
1. Call/ Da’wah Expansion.
Verbal and non Verbal Da’wah as a meaning of revert to Islam
Building bridges among Muslim sects and call for peaceful co-existence and tolerance of religious opinions among youth as a view to avert extremism
Advocating effective education of reverts and establishment of a centre in this aspect.
Targeting eminent non-Muslim into acceptance of Islam through peaceful and wise admonition.
Carefully campaigning among Muslim Tycoons for more investment in alleviating poverty within Muslims communities.
Sustaining and supporting dying Islamic institutions.
Tactful involvement of Tycoons, Governments at all levels to invest in youth projects.
Public enlightenments for compliance with the Quran and sunnah as a constant reminder of Allah.
Provisions of relief, welfare and economic empowerment programs for Muslims in war town societies or disaster.
More Islamic security and welfare measures for youth and Muslim projects.
STATUS D:
1. Action Plan and Mission statement.
As stated in the foregoing, In view of the immoral secular culture of globalization and the war against Islamic doctrines and attitudes,” Where we are now”. It is of great attention to start more networking with all willing organization both NGOs and Muslim Institutions for a successful take-off in many aspects. As for the recently concluded train-the-trainer course for peaceful co-existence, youth leadership and capacity building is a tools in implementation of IMYDP agendum for her vision and mission.
Towards achieving this, we tagged our plans as “Critical success factors” CSF. They are……………..
STATUS E:
Under the IMYDP Vision 2010.
By the end of December 2009 inshallah, the following should have been achieved within the Time frame to be decided by the Sub-Regional or each Country Committee:
CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS (CFS)
CSF No. 1:IMPLEMENTATION
1.1 Continuation of motivation of Islamic organizations to include Da’wah to non-Muslims in their programs.
1.2 Continuation of encouragement of mutual co-operation between Islamic organization in the field of:
-Execution of Da’wah Programs
-Exchange of information on available da’wah materials, strategies and experiences.
1.3 Establishment of Core Group.
1.4 Establishment of regional bodies.
1.5 Addition and appointment of stable Organizations.
1.6 Formation of Da’wah think-tank in each Country Member.
CSF No.2: DA’WAH MANPOWER TRAINING
2.1Train-the-Trainer in da’wah and dialogue for intellectuals will be carried out for youth training for a minimum of 100 participants.
2.2 Productions of Da’wah Grassroots Strategy Curriculum and printing of all necessary materials.
2.3 Monitoring and Motivation of TTC graduates to engage themselves in TTC activities.
2.4 Establishment of Core Groups for formation of student committees in various institutions.
2.5 Training Courses in Grassroots Strategy at country levels to be carried out in each country, to be taught by a trainer for regional bodies.
CSF No.3:COMMUNICATING THE MESSAGE
3.1 Setting up of Publications and Media Committees with responsibilities for:
a. Writing and Selection of items for publication in newspaper, magazines etc from TTC materials and other sources.
b. Preparation of programs or procurement of audio/video and TV programs.
3.3 Promotion of communication of the Islamic message to be continued through
a. person to person communication
b. public dialogue or debate
c. lectures and symposia
CSF No.4: TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION THE NEED OF NON-MUSLIMS.
4.1 Encouragement of trained members of Islamic organizations and other individuals to engage in constructive dialogue to non-Muslims.
CSF No.5: PROGRAM AND CONTINUAL SUSTAINABILITY.

6.1 Identification of bodies in particular programs for joint sponsor.
6.2 Involvement of local offices of International Organization(including United Nations Agencies and Islamic Organizations)in financing joint projects
6.3 Appeal to interested Embassies for financial support for specific programs
6.4 Appeal to Government (at all levels) for financial support for specific programs.

This is beautifully illustrated by the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (PBUH) when he said “you are a corner of the corners of Islam, so don’t let it be attacked from your corner”
To attain this, our slogan is “Youth of Islam; projecting the future youth”.
This is to attain a society having unhindered right as well as essential facilities to learn, practice and communicate our youth message to the entire world.
In every respect and appropriately represented in the societal decision-making.
